Cheer Up Fellows II 2009
Installation in public space, Dublin, IR, with Tine Melzer.
Cheer Up Fellows II consists out of a series of temporary public space installations which deal with the specific relationships between public image (ie locations) and private or personalized language (thoughts). After careful selection of both texts and public sites a temporary installation is created using billboards and generative textual fragments. This installation or 'generative atmospherical location’ is documented and, in presentation, reinstalled using photograhy, slide material, billboards and original texts.
Look to the South and pray
simply pretend that you can build it again
this is the time
look to the North and pray
so be it
don't forget anything
look to the West and hope
